We did have a little complaint, but it is a very subjective one. Is it user-friendly?

Although this “design” app has an outdated user interface (UI), you may still find it beautiful – after all, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. But then again, we are more accustomed to modern-looking interfaces and admin panels.

Nevertheless, once you spend some time getting used to navigating through its basic features, utilizing this application will become easy for anyone. Whether you are making an ebook about food production or online courses, Designrr does it all.

With their basic plans, Designrr gives you access to Project, Drafts, Help, and Profile menu options, plus an additional upgrade menu.

  • Lock – Easily transfer your containers to where you need them with the push of a button. The preferred method is to utilize your up/down keys. However, if unlocked, feel free to drag and drop as needed.
  • Clear formatting – Eliminate all formatting (including bolding, italicizing, and underlining) from your passage to create a cleaner, more organized look.
  • Format – Make the most of your content with a simple switch between paragraph and HTML-style heading sizes.
  • Delete – Don’t worry if you make a mistake – the Undo button (which is symbolized by the anticlockwise arrow at the bottom of your sidebar) will help restore anything you delete without asking.
  • Save element – With its amazing ability to save elements for later reuse, this feature is a must-have for those who craft lots of branded content.
  • Move element up – This feature enables you to smoothly and efficiently move an element up the page, block by block.
  • Move element down – This option offers the opposite outcome.

In addition to traditional image display options, you can also create a hyperlink from the picture and then choose whether to align it left, right or center.

Inspector Tab

There are video tutorials for Designrr that better explain its ability to handle word documents. You will need it because this software features a steep learning curve.

However, this function does come with restrictions – an eBook filled only with titles and pictures would not be engaging enough for your audience. To make better use of this tool, why not import specific selected Facebook posts into another book? We’re just cool with having this feature at all.
