We then analyzed Villa Google Business (previously: Google My Business) Profiles to understand the Industry. How many reviews do you need? How many reviews do you need to rank in the top 3 of Google? And much more.

After conducting a thorough analysis of Villa Google My Business profiles in the top 200 most populated cities in the United States, we found that the average number of reviews for all Villa companies is relatively low. In fact, 46% of Villa companies have zero reviews, while only 13% have between 1-4 reviews. The majority of Villa companies (81%) have 20 or less reviews, with only 2% having 500 or more reviews. This suggests that Villa companies may not be prioritizing review and reputation management, which could potentially impact their online visibility and customer acquisition. As a data scientist, it is important to note that this study only analyzed Google My Business profiles and may not be representative of all Villa companies’ online presence. However, the findings do provide valuable insights into the review landscape for Villa companies in the United States.

Chicago had the highest average number of reviews with 104, followed closely by Dallas with 98. Phoenix, Philadelphia, and Los Angeles had average numbers of 83, 49, and 44 respectively. On the other hand, Houston, San Diego, San Antonio, New York, and San Jose had significantly lower average numbers of reviews with 16, 15, 13, 12, and 11 respectively. These findings suggest that the review and reputation management landscape for Villa companies varies greatly across different cities, and that companies in certain cities may need to focus more on their online presence and reputation management strategies to stay competitive.

Buffalo, Columbus, Toledo, Las Vegas, Hayward, Clarksville, and Portland also made the list with respectable numbers of reviews. It’s interesting to note that these cities are spread out across the country and not concentrated in one particular region. This suggests that Villas are a popular accommodation choice for travelers across the United States. The high number of reviews also indicates that Villa owners and managers should prioritize their online reputation management to ensure they are meeting the expectations of their guests and maintaining a positive image online.
