In our data study we searched for the key phrase Travel Agency in New York City, and then repeated this for the other top 199 most populated cities in the United States. We then analyzed Travel Agency Google Business (previously: Google My Business) Profiles to understand the Industry. How many reviews do you need? How many reviews do you need to rank in the top 3 of Google? And much more.

Average Number Of Reviews For All Travel Agency Companies

After conducting a thorough analysis of Travel Agency Google My Business profiles in the top 200 most populated cities in the United States, we found that the average number of reviews for all travel agency companies is 26. This means that most travel agencies have a relatively low number of reviews, with only a few having more than 100 reviews. Interestingly, we also found that the majority of travel agencies have 20 or less reviews, with only a small percentage having 50 or more reviews. This suggests that there is a significant opportunity for travel agencies to improve their online reputation and review management strategies. By actively encouraging customers to leave reviews and responding to feedback, travel agencies can increase their visibility and attract more customers.

After conducting a thorough data study on Travel Agency Google My Business profiles in the top 200 most populated cities in the United States, it was found that the average number of reviews for the top 3 ranked companies in New York City was 181. This was significantly higher than the average number of reviews for the top 3 ranked companies in other cities such as Los Angeles (140), San Antonio (132), Chicago (106), San Jose (104), Dallas (102), Houston (100), San Diego (87), Philadelphia (66), and Phoenix (50). This finding suggests that the travel agency industry in New York City is highly competitive and that companies in this city are more likely to have a larger number of reviews due to the high demand for travel services. It also highlights the importance of reputation management for travel agencies in order to stand out in a crowded market and attract potential customers.

Cities With The Highest Amount Of Travel Agency Google Reviews

After conducting a thorough analysis of Travel Agency Google My Business profiles in the top 200 most populated cities in the United States, we have found that Sunnyvale, Frisco, and Virginia Beach have the highest amount of Google reviews for travel agencies. With 13,045, 11,090, and 3,097 reviews respectively, these cities have a significant lead over the rest of the top 10 cities. It’s interesting to note that these cities are not typically thought of as major travel destinations, yet they have a thriving travel agency industry. On the other hand, cities like Las Vegas and Miami, which are known for their tourism, have lower amounts of reviews compared to the top 3 cities. This suggests that travelers may be more likely to leave reviews for travel agencies in lesser-known destinations. Overall, this data provides valuable insights into the review and reputation management landscape for travel agencies in the United States.

Cities With The Least Amount Of Travel Agency Google Reviews That Still Ranked In The Top 3

After conducting a thorough data study on Travel Agency Google My Business profiles in the top 200 most populated cities in the United States, it was found that some cities with the least amount of reviews still managed to rank in the top 3. Dayton, Moreno Valley, Montgomery, Torrance, Thousand Oaks, Tempe, Springfield, Springfield, Rancho Cucamonga, and Gilbert were the cities that had the least amount of reviews in the top 3. Surprisingly, some of these cities had as little as 3 reviews or even none at all. It is perplexing to see how these cities managed to rank so high despite having such a low number of reviews. This finding highlights the importance of not solely relying on the number of reviews when evaluating the reputation of a travel agency. Other factors such as the quality of reviews and the overall reputation of the agency should also be taken into consideration.
