In our data study we searched for the key phrase Skateboard Shop in New York City, and then repeated this for the other top 199 most populated cities in the United States. We then analyzed Skateboard Shop Google Business (previously: Google My Business) Profiles to understand the Industry. How many reviews do you need? How many reviews do you need to rank in the top 3 of Google? And much more.

After conducting a thorough analysis of Skateboard Shop Google My Business profiles in the top 200 most populated cities in the United States, we found that the average number of reviews for all skateboard shop companies is 23. This means that most skateboard shops have a relatively low number of reviews, with only a few outliers having more than 100 or 200 reviews. Interestingly, we also found that a significant number of skateboard shops have very few reviews, with 18% having 4 or less and 5% having 0 reviews. After conducting a thorough data study on Skateboard Shop Google My Business profiles in the top 200 most populated cities in the United States, it was found that the cities with the least amount of reviews in the top 3 were Saint Paul, Waco, Topeka, Garden Grove, Winston-Salem, Newark, Irvine, Colorado Springs, Santa Clarita, and Orange. These cities had a range of 45 to 0 reviews, with Saint Paul having the highest amount at 45 and Orange and Santa Clarita having no reviews at all. It is surprising to see that these cities still ranked in the top 3 despite having such a low number of reviews. This could be due to a variety of factors such as a lack of competition in the area or a strong local community that supports the skateboard shop.
