We then analyzed Lodging Google Business (previously: Google My Business) Profiles to understand the Industry. How many reviews do you need? How many reviews do you need to rank in the top 3 of Google? And much more.

Average Number Of Reviews For All Lodging Companies

After conducting a thorough analysis of Lodging Google My Business profiles in the top 200 most populated cities in the United States, it was found that the average number of reviews for all lodging companies was 32. This means that on average, lodging companies in these cities have received 32 reviews from their customers. However, it is important to note that there is a wide range of review counts among these companies, with some having as few as 0 reviews and others having as many as 500 or more. This suggests that there is a significant variation in the level of engagement and reputation management practices among lodging companies in these cities. Further research is needed to understand the factors that contribute to this variation and to identify best practices for improving review counts and reputation management in the lodging industry.

Average Number Of Reviews Of The Lodging Companies Ranked In The Top 3 Of Google

After conducting a thorough analysis of Lodging Google My Business profiles in the top 200 most populated cities in the United States, it was found that the average number of reviews for lodging companies ranked in the top 3 of Google varied greatly. Philadelphia had the highest average number of reviews with a staggering 36,667, followed by San Antonio with 24,000. On the other hand, cities like Houston and Chicago had significantly lower average numbers of reviews with only 79 and 60 respectively. It is interesting to note that some of the largest cities in the country, such as New York and Los Angeles, fell somewhere in the middle with 228 and 1,090 average reviews respectively. Cities With The Highest Amount Of Lodging Google Reviews

After conducting a thorough analysis of Lodging Google My Business profiles in the top 200 most populated cities in the United States, we have found that Mesquite, Texas has the highest amount of Google reviews for lodging with a staggering 139,827 reviews. Following closely behind is Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with 110,000 reviews and Riverside, California with 95,636 reviews. San Antonio, Texas and St. Petersburg, Florida round out the top five with 72,000 and 58,000 reviews respectively. It is interesting to note that North Las Vegas, Nevada and Vancouver, Washington also made the top ten with 56,839 and 40,701 reviews respectively. The data shows that these cities have a thriving lodging industry with a high level of engagement from customers who are willing to leave reviews. This information can be valuable for businesses looking to improve their reputation management and customer satisfaction strategies in these cities.

Cities With The Least Amount Of Lodging Google Reviews That Still Ranked In The Top 3

After conducting a thorough data study on Lodging Google My Business profiles in the top 200 most populated cities in the United States, it was found that Brownsville, Boston, Baltimore, Austin, Augusta, Atlanta, Anchorage, Amarillo, and Albuquerque had the least amount of reviews in the top 3.
