Library Reputation Management

In our data study we searched for the key phrase Library in New York City, and then repeated this for the other top 199 most populated cities in the United States. We then analyzed Library Google Business (previously: Google My Business) Profiles to understand the Industry. How many reviews do you need? How many reviews do you need to rank in the top 3 of Google? And much more.

Average Number Of Reviews For All Library Companies

After conducting a thorough analysis of Library Google My Business profiles in the top 200 most populated cities in the United States, it was found that the average number of reviews for all library companies was 98. This means that on average, libraries in these cities have almost 100 reviews on their Google My Business profiles. However, it is important to note that there were some libraries with as few as 4 or less reviews, while others had as many as 500 or less. This indicates that there is a wide range of review and reputation management practices among libraries in these cities. It is crucial for libraries to actively manage their online reputation and encourage patrons to leave reviews, as this can greatly impact their visibility and credibility in the community.

Average Number Of Reviews Of The Library Companies Ranked In The Top 3 Of Google

After conducting a thorough data study on Library Google My Business profiles in the top 200 most populated cities in the United States, it was found that Philadelphia had the highest average number of reviews in the top 3, with a staggering 215 reviews. New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Houston, Phoenix, San Antonio, San Diego, Dallas, and San Jose all had 0 reviews in the top 3. This finding is quite perplexing, as one would expect the most populated cities to have a higher number of reviews for their libraries. It raises questions about the reputation management strategies of these libraries and whether they are effectively utilizing their online presence to attract visitors. Further research is needed to understand the reasons behind these findings and to identify potential solutions for improving the online reputation of libraries in these cities.

Cities With The Highest Amount Of Library Google Reviews

After conducting a thorough analysis of Library Google My Business profiles in the top 200 most populated cities in the United States, we found that Gilbert, Arizona had the highest amount of Google reviews for libraries with a staggering 9318 reviews. Following closely behind were Hollywood, Florida with 2862 reviews and Naperville, Illinois with 1890 reviews. Oxnard, California and Dayton, Ohio rounded out the top five with 1610 and 1550 reviews respectively. It’s interesting to note that while these cities may not be the most well-known or populous, their libraries have clearly made an impact on their communities. It’s also worth mentioning that while larger cities like New York and Los Angeles may have more libraries overall, they did not make the top ten in terms of Google reviews. This suggests that smaller cities may have a more engaged and vocal community when it comes to their local libraries. Overall, this data provides valuable insights into the review and reputation management landscape for libraries across the United States.

Cities With The Least Amount Of Library Google Reviews That Still Ranked In The Top 3

Our data study on Library Google My Business profiles in the top 200 most populated cities in the United States has revealed some interesting findings. Among them, we discovered that some cities with the least amount of Library Google reviews still managed to rank in the top 3. Aurora, Augusta, and Atlanta were the top three cities with the least amount of reviews, all with a count of zero. Despite this, they still managed to rank highly in terms of population size. This raises questions about the importance of online reviews in determining the reputation and popularity of libraries in these cities. It also highlights the need for libraries to actively manage their online presence and reputation, even if they are located in cities with a large population.
