In our data study we searched for the key phrase Gym in New York City, and then repeated this for the other top 199 most populated cities in the United States. We then analyzed Gym Google Business (previously: Google My Business) Profiles to understand the Industry. How many reviews do you need? How many reviews do you need to rank in the top 3 of Google? And much more.

Average Number Of Reviews For All Gym Companies

After conducting a thorough analysis of Gym Google My Business profiles in the top 200 most populated cities in the United States, we found that the average number of reviews for all gym companies is 50 or less. This means that the majority of gym companies have a relatively small number of reviews, with only a few outliers having more than 500 reviews. It’s interesting to note that the highest number of reviews for a gym company was 300, which suggests that there is a significant opportunity for gym companies to improve their online presence and reputation management. With the rise of online reviews and the increasing importance of social proof, it’s crucial for gym companies to focus on building a strong online reputation to attract and retain customers.

Average Number Of Reviews Of The Gym Companies Ranked In The Top 3 Of Google

After conducting a thorough data study on the Gym Google My Business profiles in the top 200 most populated cities in the United States, we found that the average number of reviews for gym companies ranked in the top 3 of Google was highest in Houston with 443 reviews, followed by Dallas with 318 reviews and San Antonio with 278 reviews. Surprisingly, New York City, known for its fitness culture, ranked only 8th with an average of 138 reviews. It’s interesting to note that the average number of reviews for gym companies in the top 3 of Google was significantly lower in smaller cities, with Philadelphia having an average of only 45 reviews. This data highlights the importance of review and reputation management for gym companies, especially in larger cities where competition is high.

Cities With The Highest Amount Of Gym Google Reviews

After conducting a thorough data study on Gym Google My Business profiles in the top 200 most populated cities in the United States, we have found that Greensboro, North Las Vegas, and Topeka have the highest amount of Gym Google reviews. Surprisingly, cities like Joliet and Irving also made it to the top five, beating out more well-known cities like New York and Los Angeles. It’s interesting to note that San Bernardino and Newark, both cities with a reputation for high crime rates, also made it to the top ten. This data suggests that people in these cities are highly engaged with their local gym scene and are willing to share their experiences online. As a data scientist, it’s fascinating to see how online reviews can provide insight into the reputation management landscape of different cities.

Cities With The Least Amount Of Gym Google Reviews That Still Ranked In The Top 3

After conducting a thorough data study on Gym Google My Business profiles in the top 200 most populated cities in the United States, it was found that some cities with the least amount of gym Google reviews still managed to rank in the top 3. Bakersfield, Aurora, Augusta, Atlanta, Arlington, Anaheim, Amarillo, Albuquerque, and Akron were the cities that had zero reviews for gyms on Google My Business profiles. Despite this, they still managed to rank in the top 3 most populated cities in the United States. This finding is quite perplexing as one would expect that cities with a higher number of gym Google reviews would rank higher in the list. It raises questions about the factors that contribute to a city’s ranking and whether or not gym Google reviews are a significant factor in determining a city’s popularity. Further research is needed to understand the relationship between gym Google reviews and a city’s ranking.
