In our data study we searched for the key phrase Contractor in New York City, and then repeated this for the other top 199 most populated cities in the United States. We then analyzed Contractor Google Business (previously: Google My Business) Profiles to understand the Industry. How many reviews do you need? How many reviews do you need to rank in the top 3 of Google? And much more.

Average Number Of Reviews For All Contractor Companies

After conducting a thorough analysis of Contractor Google My Business profiles in the top 200 most populated cities in the United States, we found that the average number of reviews for all Contractor companies is 36. This means that on average, Contractor companies have received 36 reviews from their customers. However, it is important to note that there is a wide range of review counts among Contractor companies, with some having as few as 4 reviews and others having as many as 500 reviews. This suggests that there is a significant variation in the level of engagement and reputation management practices among Contractor companies. Overall, our findings highlight the importance of actively managing online reviews and reputation for Contractor companies in order to stand out in a highly competitive market.

After conducting a thorough data study on Contractor Google My Business profiles in the top 200 most populated cities in the United States, we found that the average number of reviews for the top 3 ranked companies varied greatly. Philadelphia had the highest average with 96 reviews, followed by Dallas with 60, and Houston with 59. On the other hand, San Antonio and San Jose had the lowest averages with only 2 and 1 reviews respectively. It’s interesting to note that New York City, despite being one of the most populated cities in the country, only had an average of 32 reviews for the top 3 ranked companies. This data highlights the importance of review and reputation management for contractor companies, as it can greatly impact their visibility and success in a highly competitive market.

Cities With The Highest Amount Of Contractor Google Reviews

After conducting a thorough analysis of Contractor Google My Business profiles in the top 200 most populated cities in the United States, we found that Atlanta, Raleigh, and Pittsburgh had the highest amount of Google reviews for contractors. With 28,110, 21,051, and 19,352 reviews respectively, these cities clearly have a thriving contractor industry with a strong online presence. It was interesting to note that smaller cities such as Garland and Fort Wayne also made the top 10 list, indicating that contractors in these areas are also actively engaging with customers online. Overall, this data study provides valuable insights into the review and reputation management landscape for contractors across the United States.

Cities With The Least Amount Of Contractor Google Reviews That Still Ranked In The Top 3
