In fact, over half of the companies had 10 or less reviews, with only a small percentage having 100 or more. This suggests that there is a significant opportunity for charity organizations to improve their online presence and reputation management strategies. With the increasing importance of online reviews and ratings, it is crucial for charities to actively engage with their audience and encourage feedback. By doing so, they can not only improve their online reputation but also increase their visibility and attract more donors and volunteers.

Houston had an average of 27 reviews, and San Jose had an average of 20. The remaining cities had significantly lower averages, with Chicago having an average of 6 reviews, San Diego with 5, Phoenix with 1, and Philadelphia with 0. These findings suggest that the number of reviews for charity companies in the top 3 of Google varies greatly depending on the city, with some cities having significantly higher averages than others.
Cities With The Highest Amount Of Charity Google Reviews

Following closely behind were Sacramento with 775 reviews and Plano with 741 reviews. Columbus, Spokane, and Dallas also made the top 10 list with over 600 reviews each. However, it was surprising to see New York City, one of the largest cities in the country, only ranking 8th with 599 reviews. It’s clear that people are passionate about supporting charities in these cities, and it’s important for these organizations to have a strong online presence to effectively manage their reputation and engage with their supporters.
