In our data study we searched for the key phrase Motel in New York City, and then repeated this for the other top 199 most populated cities in the United States. We then analyzed Motel Google Business (previously: Google My Business) Profiles to understand the Industry. How many reviews do you need? How many reviews do you need to rank in the top 3 of Google? And much more.

Average Number Of Reviews For All Motel Companies

After conducting a thorough analysis of Motel Google My Business profiles in the top 200 most populated cities in the United States, it was found that the average number of reviews for all motel companies was 27. This means that on average, each motel had 27 reviews on their Google My Business profile. However, it is important to note that there was a wide range of review counts among the motels analyzed. While some had as few as 1 or 2 reviews, others had as many as 500 or more. This suggests that there is a significant variation in the level of engagement and reputation management among motel companies in the United States. Further research is needed to understand the factors that contribute to these differences and to identify best practices for improving review counts and reputation management in the motel industry.

After conducting a thorough research project analyzing Motel Google My Business profiles in the top 200 most populated cities in the United States, it was found that the average number of reviews for the top 3 ranked Motel companies on Google was highest in Chicago with 2000 reviews, followed by Los Angeles with 976 reviews, and San Antonio with 873 reviews. Phoenix, Houston, and Philadelphia had an average number of reviews ranging from 795 to 96, while New York, San Diego, Dallas, and San Jose had no reviews in the top 3 ranked Motel companies on Google. These findings suggest that Motel companies in certain cities may have a stronger online presence and reputation management strategy than others, which could potentially impact their overall success and profitability. Further research could be conducted to explore the reasons behind these discrepancies and to identify potential solutions for improving the online reputation of Motel companies in cities with lower average review numbers.

Cities With The Least Amount Of Motel Google Reviews That Still Ranked In The Top 3
