We then analyzed Amateur theater Google Business (previously: Google My Business) Profiles to understand the Industry. How many reviews do you need? How many reviews do you need to rank in the top 3 of Google? And much more.

After conducting a thorough analysis of Amateur theater Google My Business profiles in the top 200 most populated cities in the United States, we found that the average number of reviews for all Amateur theater companies is relatively low. In fact, 70% of companies have 100 or less reviews, with 40% having 20 or less. This suggests that the Amateur theater industry may not be as popular or well-known as other forms of entertainment. However, it’s important to note that having a smaller number of reviews doesn’t necessarily mean a company has a poor reputation. In fact, some companies with fewer reviews may have a higher overall rating than those with more reviews. Overall, our study highlights the need for Amateur theater companies to focus on building their online presence and reputation management strategies to attract more customers and increase their visibility in the industry.

It is possible that these companies are not utilizing Google My Business to its full potential, or that they are not actively seeking out reviews from their customers.
