In our data study we searched for the key phrase Tax Department in New York City, and then repeated this for the other top 199 most populated cities in the United States. We then analyzed Tax Department Google Business (previously: Google My Business) Profiles to understand the Industry. How many reviews do you need? How many reviews do you need to rank in the top 3 of Google? And much more.
Average Number Of Reviews For All Tax Department Companies
After conducting a thorough analysis of Tax Department Google My Business profiles in the top 200 most populated cities in the United States, we found that the average number of reviews for all Tax Department companies is relatively low. In fact, 48% of Tax Department companies had 4 or fewer reviews, while only 11% had 10 or fewer reviews. This suggests that Tax Department companies are not actively seeking out customer feedback or engaging with their customers online. Additionally, only 6% of Tax Department companies had 20 or fewer reviews, indicating that there is a significant opportunity for these companies to improve their online reputation and increase customer engagement. Overall, our findings suggest that Tax Department companies could benefit from implementing a more proactive approach to review and reputation management.

Dallas followed closely behind with 142 reviews, while Los Angeles had an average of 86 reviews. Surprisingly, San Antonio had more reviews than Philadelphia, with an average of 78 compared to Philadelphia’s 40. San Diego, San Jose, and Chicago had significantly lower averages, with 29, 4, and 3 reviews respectively. Phoenix and New York had the lowest averages, with only 2 and 0 reviews respectively. These findings suggest that there is a significant disparity in the review and reputation management landscape for Tax Department companies across different cities in the United States.

Surprisingly, Austin and Houston, two major cities in Texas, did not make the top three. Instead, they ranked fourth and fifth, respectively. Other cities that made the top ten include Orlando, Torrance, McKinney, Dallas, and Cape Coral. It’s interesting to note that the number of reviews for these cities varies greatly, with Jacksonville having a whopping 12,555 reviews and Cape Coral having only 369. This data provides valuable insights into the review and reputation management landscape for Tax Departments in these cities, and can be used to inform future strategies for improving online presence and customer satisfaction.
