This means that on average, each motel had 27 reviews on their Google My Business profile. However, it is important to note that there was a wide range of review counts among the motels analyzed. While some had as few as 1 or 2 reviews, others had as many as 500 or more. This suggests that there is a significant variation in the level of engagement and reputation management among motel companies in the United States. Further research is needed to understand the factors that contribute to these differences and to identify best practices for improving review counts and reputation management in the motel industry.

Phoenix, Houston, and Philadelphia had an average number of reviews ranging from 795 to 96, while New York, San Diego, Dallas, and San Jose had no reviews in the top 3 ranked Motel companies on Google. These findings suggest that Motel companies in certain cities may have a stronger online presence and reputation management strategy than others, which could potentially impact their overall success and profitability. It’s interesting to note that smaller cities like Visalia and Corpus Christi also made the list, indicating that travelers are leaving reviews for motels in a variety of locations.
